How much local tourism tax (IFA) do I pay?
IFA is a local tax payable to the district municipality.
- Most Budapest districts: 4% of revenue
- District II: 800 HUF/person/night (from 01.01.2026)
- District XI: 500 HUF/person/night
Filing: monthly, by the 15th of the following month. Late interest starts after the 15th day.
