What pool or hot tub regulations must I comply with?
If your accommodation has a pool, hot tub or barrel bath (even inflatable!), you must comply with public bathing regulations under Government Decree 510/2023 (XI. 20.):
- A public health technology regulation (KTSZ) approved by the District Office is required.
- Chemical risk assessment and Legionella risk assessment are mandatory.
- Regular water quality testing must be conducted.
- Required documents: application for KTSZ approval, KTSZ document in 2 copies, chemical and Legionella risk assessments, and regular trial operation results.
The District Office requires compliance before the 2026 season — start the process well in advance!

Is your apartment in order on paper, too?
The risk check shows where there are gaps in compliant operation: permits, NTAK, taxes, condominium rules.
