In District VII (and several other districts), the condominium general meeting must approve short-term rental. Practical steps:
- Request an extraordinary general meeting from the building manager, in accordance with the bylaws.
- Include the consent for accommodation services as an agenda item.
- Approval typically requires a simple majority (50%+1 votes), but bylaws may specify different thresholds.
Prepare your arguments:
- Accommodation services do not cause more disruption than long-term rental.
- You commit to following house rules and supervising guests.
- With professional management, communication and problem resolution are guaranteed.
If the general meeting rejects the request, there is no appeal — it can only be raised again at a new meeting.
