How do I fulfil the NTAK data reporting obligation?
Since 2020, reporting guest traffic data to NTAK is mandatory. This requires NTAK-compatible accommodation management software.
Data to record per guest: surname, first name, country of origin, gender, date and place of birth, residence, postcode, passport number, arrival/departure dates.
If a guest refuses to provide data, you cannot accept them! Penalties were tightened from 2025: for registration violations, fines up to 500,000 HUF can be imposed even on the first offence (warning excluded!), for repeated violations up to 1,000,000 HUF or permit revocation / 30-day closure.

Is your apartment in order on paper, too?
The risk check shows where there are gaps in compliant operation: permits, NTAK, taxes, condominium rules.
