Yes, an operating permit is a fundamental requirement for legal short-term rental. The permit is issued by the district municipality where your apartment is located.
Documents required for the application:
- Completed application form
- Accommodation rating certificate (MTÜ)
- Floor plan
- NTAK software certification
- Power of attorney (if not handled by the owner)
- Consent declaration (if not sole owner)
The permit must be kept in the apartment. E-administration is also available.
